đ About the Role
As an Aquatics Opener, youâll help kick off the day by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for our early morning members. Whether youâre lifeguarding, assisting swimmers, or supporting aquatics programming, your role is key to creating a positive start to each day.

- Maintain a safe aquatic environment by monitoring pool areas and enforcing safety guidelines
- Provide friendly, welcoming support to members and swimmers
- Assist with or lead swim instruction using YMCA curriculum (as certified)

Qualifications

A minimum age of 16 years
- đ Current certifications in:

- - Oxygen Administration

- đĄ OR a willingness to obtain certifications before starting (training opportunities may be available for the right candidate!)
- đ§ A calm, confident presence with strong attention to safety and detail
