Job Description
We are seeking a Front of House and Host professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service being a key element f our guest journey, ensuring the smooth operation of the front of house area, working within clear systems and service procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast paced, structured environment.
Your Role: As a FOH host, you will be a key part of the guest journey from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave, helping manage the flow of service according to our front of house systems.
- Welcome guests on arrival, explain how the venue works and set the tone for the Costa Taco experience
- Manage the entry and seating plan using our host guidelines and floor plan supporting smooth service and our hospitality standards
- Take orders, run food and handle payments using our POS and service procedures
- Keep the dining area clean, reset tables and complete opening and closing checklists
- Communicate clearly with the team to support smooth, consistent service
- Complete all opening, service and closing checklists with care and consistency, and flag any variances or issues to your supervisor.
- Bartend following our standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
What You Bring:
- Front of House experience preferred, but we will train the right person who is happy to follow systems and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, speed, initiative and cleanliness.
- Passion for food, drinks and consistency of guest experience.
- Team player with a positive attitude and work ethic, comfortable working with clear expectations and structured ways of working.
- Confidence welcoming guests, speaking clearly and managing a door or host station in busy periods.
- Flexibility to work across lunch and dinner service, and weekend periods.
