Job Description

Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the technical point of contact for developers during planning and construction phases of new build projects
2. Translate developer needs and property requirements into scalable telecommunications solutions using current service offerings.
3. Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams to design future-proofed solutions including fiber layouts, equipment placement, and connectivity standards.
4. Create detailed scopes of work (SOW), bills of materials (BOM), and high-level designs (HLD) to support pricing and service planning.
5. Evaluate feasibility of proposed services in relation to existing infrastructure, budget constraints, and delivery timelines
6. Represent Hotwire Communications during developer and municipal meetings, providing technical guidance and fielding Q&A.
7. Participate in RFPs and RFIs related to new construction opportunities; assist in crafting proposals that include technical solutions and value-added services.
8. Identify subcontractor needs based on project scale and complexity; assist with subcontractor qualification and onboarding as needed.
9. Support market General Managers and Sales by attending sales presentations as a technical resource.
10. Attend site walks, construction meetings, and planning sessions with builders and development stakeholders.
11. Provide leadership and technical oversight during construction handoff and implementation phases.
12. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • At least 3 years of working experience in telecommunications industry or technical solution design, with a focus on new construction.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with real estate developers, construction teams, and design consultants.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment to ensure deadlines are met pre- and post-sale.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service area.
  • Industry certifications or project management experience is a plus.
