JOIN OUR TEAM

At VASA Fitness, we're more than a gym--we're a community built on unity, passion, love, integrity, fun, and trust. We create UPLIFTing experiences for everyone through inclusive, accessible, and on-trend fitness. VASA is a place where lives are changed through authentic connections, growth, and support--for both members and team members.

As VASA expands into new communities, we’re building a dedicated New Club Opening Training Team. This team brings together experts across each area of club operations to train, coach, and prepare new teams before the doors open.

HOW YOU WILL CHANGE LIVES

The NCO Personal Training Field Manager leads Personal Training onboarding and development for VASA’s new clubs. You’ll prepare Personal Training Leaders and Personal Trainers to confidently deliver consultations, close sales, provide high-quality coaching, and build strong client relationships from day one.

This is a hands-on field role for an experienced Personal Training leader who can teach both the business and coaching sides of PT. You’ll support each club through PT Leader training, pre-opening preparation, opening week, and post-opening reinforcement—leaving behind a confident leader and a team ready to grow a successful Personal Training department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver hands-on training to incoming PT Leaders using VASA’s established curriculum, processes, and standards.
  • Support trainer onboarding and ensure the team is prepared to execute consultations and training sessions before opening day.
  • Facilitate practice, role-playing, and skill-building sessions with PT Leaders and trainers.
  • Teach and reinforce the full PT sales process, including booking, delivering, following up on, and converting client consultations.
  • Coach PT Leaders on trainer development, scheduling, recruiting, sales leadership, and daily accountability.
  • Help the PT Leader build an opening-week schedule that provides strong trainer coverage during key hours.
  • Coach teams to deliver engaging client experiences that encourage early usage and retention.
  • Track completion of required training, onboarding checklists, and readiness milestones.
  • Partner with the General Manager, Director of Personal Training, NCO Operations Manager, and other NCO Field Managers to prepare the club for opening.
  • Communicate PT Leader readiness, trainer progress, performance concerns, and training feedback to key partners.
  • Provide opening-week floor coaching and post-opening reinforcement before transitioning full ownership to the club team.
  • Support the continued development of Personal Training certification programs and training resources.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re an energetic and credible Personal Training leader who genuinely enjoys developing others. You can demonstrate a skill, observe someone in action, and provide clear feedback that builds both confidence and accountability.

You understand how consultation quality, sales execution, session delivery, and client relationships work together to drive a successful PT business. You’re also comfortable traveling frequently, adapting to new environments, and influencing teams without direct authority.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Wellness is a priority! All employees receive two complimentary gym memberships—one for you and one to share—plus discounted Personal Training sessions.
  • All employees are eligible to participate in 401(k) options and the Employee Assistance Program, including free therapy, financial advising, legal advice, and more.
  • Salaried employees receive a Flexible Vacation Plan, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.
  • Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 annually.
  • Additional perks: Mileage reimbursement and phone stipend.

Candidates must already live within Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, or Iowa.

We are proud to be a Great Place to Work® certified company!
