BMW of Tulsa is seeking a driven, results-oriented New Car Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales department and deliver a premium customer experience consistent with the BMW brand. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, coaching a high-performing team, and ensuring operational excellence across all new car sales activities.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for luxury automotive sales, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Performance

    • Lead, motivate, and manage the new car sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales goals and profitability targets
    • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take proactive action to drive results
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with dealership and manufacturer objectives
  • Team Development & Coaching

    • Recruit, train, and mentor sales consultants to build a high-performing team
    • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews
    • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Customer Experience

    • Ensure an exceptional, luxury-level customer experience that reflects BMW brand standards
    • Assist in closing deals and resolving complex customer situations
    • Monitor customer satisfaction scores and implement improvements as needed
  • Inventory & Merchandising

    • Manage new vehicle inventory levels, aging, and model mix in partnership with dealership leadership
    • Ensure proper merchandising, pricing strategy, and vehicle presentation
    • Collaborate on ordering and allocation to optimize sales opportunities
  • Process & Compliance

    • Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and legal requirements
    • Oversee adherence to sales processes, CRM usage, and documentation accuracy
    • Partner with Finance & Insurance (F&I) to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Collaboration & Reporting

    • Work closely with the General Manager and other department leaders to achieve overall dealership goals
    • Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics
    • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and community engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry (luxury brand experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and drive profitability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Deep understanding of automotive sales processes, CRM systems, and dealership operations
  • High level of professionalism with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Experience with BMW or other premium/luxury brands highly preffered
