
The Company Secretary provides strategic governance, corporate secretarial, and regulatory compliance leadership for the Bank. The role supports the Board, Board Committees, and Executive Management by ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards, CBN regulations, BOFIA, CAMA, and Shari’ah governance requirements.
Key responsibilities include coordinating Board and shareholder meetings, maintaining statutory records, overseeing regulatory filings, advising on governance matters, facilitating director onboarding and development, and supporting Board effectiveness initiatives. The role also manages governance-related regulatory engagements and ensures effective administration of Company Secretariat operations.
