
The Chief Compliance Officer provides independent leadership and oversight for the Bank’s compliance and Shariah governance framework, ensuring all operations, products, transactions, and business activities comply with Islamic banking principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
The role advises the Board, Executive Management, and Shariah Supervisory Board on compliance matters, oversees Shariah risk management, product certification, compliance monitoring, and internal audits, and promotes a strong culture of ethical banking and regulatory adherence.
The Chief Compliance Officer also manages regulatory engagements, supports strategic initiatives, and safeguards the Bank against compliance and Shariah non-compliance risks while strengthening governance and institutional integrity.
