
KONE is looking for a strategic and commercially driven leader to join our team in Bucharest or Sofia and shape the future of New Business Solutions and Modernization In this role, you will play a key part in driving growth, strengthening customer engagement, and enhancing overall business performance across markets. You will work at the intersection of strategy, sales, and operations—collaborating closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, build high-performing teams, and ensure sustainable success.
Key responsibilities:
Drive a customer-first approach, leveraging market insights to strengthen consultative selling and proactive engagement
Lead the performance and development of New Business Solutions and Modernization, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability
Analyze business and contract performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Implement regional frameworks to grow market share, optimize pricing, and enhance overall performance
Drive business development and go-to-market execution, scaling new services and solutions across markets
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align on targets, share best practices, and strengthen execution
Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting, supporting financial performance tracking and target achievement
Lead and develop high-performing teams, building capabilities and addressing skill gaps
Ensure adherence to the operating model, while driving continuous improvement across portfolio and ways of working
Champion Safety, Quality, and compliance, embedding high standards across all activities
Requirements:
Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer business needs, with the ability to translate insights into commercial actions
Proven expertise in sales management, customer relationship management, marketing, and channel development
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes, including key profit and cost drivers
Well-developed professional sales competencies in line with established sales frameworks and standards
Fluency in English
Relevant degree in commercial or technical field
