Job Description

Job Purpose

To strategically drive revenue growth by acquiring and developing major new business accounts, focusing on high-value opportunities within Government, Mining, and Enterprise sectors. This role requires leveraging extensive industry knowledge and consultative selling expertise to position the clients Office Automation, IT, and Print solutions as the preferred choice among key decision-makers.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) mandatory

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, IT, or related discipline preferred

  • Professional certifications in enterprise sales or technology solutions advantageous

Experience

  • 5-10 years demonstrated success in new business development and sales within Office Automation, IT Solutions, or related sectors

  • Proven track record in acquiring and managing complex, high-value accounts across Government, Mining, or similar regulated industries

  • Strong technical understanding of multi-function devices, document management systems, and integrated IT solutions

Skills and Competencies

  • Expert in strategic prospecting, opportunity qualification, and deal closure with senior-level stakeholders

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills

  • Strong planning, presentation, and organizational expertise to manage multiple high-stakes opportunities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication tailored for executive audiences

  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with a collaborative approach

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and pursuit of new major business opportunities aligned with company growth targets

  • Develop tailored, value-driven proposals and compelling sales presentations for strategic clients

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-suite and key decision-makers to influence buying decisions

  • Manage a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and timely reporting to senior management

  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service implementation

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs to adapt sales strategies proactively

  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, forums, and client engagements

  • Drive continuous learning and stay updated on product innovations and industry best practices

Additional Duties

  • Support leadership with market insights, sales strategy refinement, and special projects as needed

  • Mentor and guide junior sales staff when applicable
