Our SMB New Business Development Team is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, pitching and closing high potential advertisers and marketing agencies for the TikTok Ads Platform. You will consult with decision makers to help them incorporate TikTok Ads into their marketing strategies, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop best practices for client acquisition and sales, while building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, establishing new client relationships, focusing on revenue and bottom line business impact. Success in this position requires a passion for sales, supporting businesses, generating new business, agility to become high-achiever, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Sales pipeline strategy & execution:
- Prospect, qualify, pitch and close new business opportunities for the TikTok Ads Platform, as well as working with customers, are not yet on the TikTok platform
- Build and manage pipelines of business, including inbound leads management and outbound prospecting efforts via phone, email, and 3rd party tooling
- Expected to consistently meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative acquisition sales targets, while delivering a best-in-class experience to clients
Account management & client relationship:
- Meet & consult with decision makers and align TikTok Ads strategies with identified marketing and business objectives
- Leading the full sales cycle; from prospecting to closing a deal, managing the customer in the first few months before fast-tracking to AM.
Cross-function strategic collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on lead-generation initiatives
- Partner with multiple stakeholders to conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Working cross-functionally with marketing teams and in-country teams to determine key growth industries, and execute this strategy.
