Your Role with Us

As a New Business Representative, you play an important role in helping customers begin their journey with AIA by ensuring new business applications are processed accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional care. Working within the New Business team, you build trusted relationships with customers, advisers, and internal stakeholders while delivering a seamless experience across every interaction. This is an opportunity to develop your knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and digital tools while contributing to a high-performing, customer-focused environment. Your work directly supports great customer outcomes, operational excellence, and AIA’s purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

Your Impact

  • Process new business applications and policy increases accurately and efficiently, supporting timely customer outcomes

  • Deliver responsive, professional service across customer and stakeholder interactions, creating positive experiences and building trust

  • Apply underwriting terms and business standards consistently to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance

  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored support that strengthens customer satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities

  • Build collaborative relationships with advisers, customers, and colleagues to enhance service delivery and resolve queries effectively

  • Champion digital tools and continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and support operational excellence

Your Capabilities

  • You bring experience delivering excellent customer service, ideally within a customer contact, administrative, or financial services environment

  • You have strong attention to detail and enjoy working with processes that require accuracy, quality, and compliance

  • You have the ability to manage priorities effectively and take ownership of tasks to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes

  • You bring a collaborative approach and build positive relationships with a wide range of customers and stakeholders

  • You have confidence using technology and learning new systems to support efficient and customer-focused ways of working

  • It is great if you have knowledge of insurance, underwriting, or financial services products and processes, although support and development will be available as you grow in the role
