Base Compensation: $29.73–$43.20 per hour, based on experience

HireNow Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a neurology nursing opportunity in Gainesville. This role requires strong assessment skills, effective prioritization, and comfort managing a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Applicants must currently live within commuting distance of Gainesville. Candidates residing in Ocala will not be considered for this opening.

HireNow Package

Base Hourly Compensation

• One year of experience: $29.73
• Five years: $33.71
• Ten years: $37.75
• Seventeen years: $43.20

Final compensation will be determined by the employer's experience scale and assessment of qualifications.

Shift Differentials

• Nights: Additional $4.25 per hour
• Weekends: Additional $3.00 per hour
• Weekend nights: Combined differential of $7.25 per hour

Differentials apply only to eligible hours worked.

Sign-On and Relocation

• $10,000 sign-on bonus listed through September 25, subject to employer terms
• Relocation assistance listed as case by case; availability must be reconciled with the current local-residency requirement

Schedule and Location

• Gainesville, Florida
• Full-time days: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
• Applicants must meet the employer's commuting requirements

Role Overview

Anticipated responsibilities include

• Assess patients and monitor neurological status and changes in condition.
• Prioritize nursing care across assigned patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
• Communicate significant findings promptly to providers and the care team.
• Support individualized care planning and discharge preparation.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Follow patient-safety and infection-prevention procedures.

Specific patient populations and unit responsibilities will be confirmed during the interview process.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of RN experience
• Active, unencumbered Florida RN license or an applicable multistate compact RN license authorizing practice in Florida
• No current or previous disciplinary action against any nursing license
• Comfort managing a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Current residence within commuting distance of Gainesville, excluding Ocala
• Availability for three 12-hour day shifts and rotating weekends
• Eligibility under the employer's application-history restriction

All RN licenses must be verified through Nursys for current and previous disciplinary actions. Under the employer's submission criteria, candidates with any nursing-license disciplinary history cannot be submitted.

Application-history restriction: Candidates must not have an active application in the hiring organization's same division within the previous six months.

Preferred Qualifications
