A growing Neurology unit in Gainesville is seeking Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for neurological and stroke patients. This unit offers a supportive, fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for professional development. Acute care experience is not required. Candidates from home health, LTAC, skilled nursing, corrections, and outpatient rehab are encouraged to apply.
• Assess and document patient conditions at admission and throughout each shift
• Perform nursing procedures and monitoring as ordered
• Administer medications and evaluate therapeutic responses
• Anticipate patient needs and provide timely, patient-centered service
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, medications, and follow-up expectations
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal outcomes
Required:
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (including home health, rehab, LTAC, skilled nursing, or corrections)
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate license (compact nurses must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation)
• BLS certification within 30 days of start
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
