We are pleased to accept applications for a two-year Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders, starting at the earliest possible date
The fellowship is specifically designed for early-career physicians from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) who wish to expand their clinical, scientific, and teaching expertise in the field of Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders and subsequently apply and share this knowledge in their home countries.
The fellowship follows a “train-the-trainer” approach. In addition to comprehensive clinical training, fellows will receive structured education in clinical research, scientific methodology, and medical education and teaching. A central objective is to enable fellows, upon returning to their home countries, to share their acquired knowledge and expertise with colleagues and to contribute to the sustainable development of local expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and research of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
