The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Neurology is looking a full-time Staff Nurse to provide to provide excellent patient care in the Neurology Outpatient Clinic. The Staff Nurse will focus primarily on the General/Stroke/Cognitive/Neurointerventional Surgery (NIS) patient population and will assess those patients' nursing care needs, evaluate effectiveness of care provided, and provide leadership to members of the nursing team.
As part of the care team, the Staff Nurse may also assist with additional patient populations as needs arise. Patient diagnoses may include movement, central nervous system (CNS) autoimmune diseases, epilepsy, and headache.

Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. This position will participate in the late rotation, including one closing shift per week, to ensure patient care needs are met prior to and at clinic close. No call, no weekends, and no holidays.
