Job Description

The Department of Neurology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an academic Headache Neurologist. The Medical Center has been designated as a participating site within the Network for Excellence in Neuroscience Clinical Trials (NeuroNEXT).

• Join a vibrant group of headache faculty with myriad of interests including but not limited to intracranial hypertension, facial pain, healthcare disparities, and concussion
• Teach and mentor trainees in our UCNS-accredited headache fellowship with potential to recruit one fellow
• Participation in community events
• Grow your academic career with our robust Faculty Development program, housed within our larger department of 90+ neurology faculty across 14 subspeciality disciplines
• Be a part of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, which is a rapidly expanding enterprise supporting clinical, educational, research, and outreach efforts

Qualifications

• Possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
• Board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for adult or child neurology
• Completed a 1-year fellowship in headache
