MercyOne is seeking a fellowship-trained Neurohospitalist to join our leading and growing practice in Des Moines, IA. This role offers the opportunity join our expanding neurology service line within a collaborative team, supported by a strong referral network serving a population of 1.4 million. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in inpatient neurology and acute stroke care.

MercyOne Ruan Neurology is an integrated multispecialty practice with a statewide referral network. Our team of 12 neurologists and 4 advanced practice providers manage the full spectrum of neurological conditions across all subspecialties. We are a Joint Commission–certified Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and opportunities exist for outreach and tele-neurology services. Our comprehensive practice collaborates closely with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine. MercyOne Ruan Neurology also serves as faculty for MercyOne residents (Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine) and Des Moines University medical students.
