Work Schedule
90% FTE, 3 x 12-hour night shifts: Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7:00PM – 7:30AM. Rotating weekends and holidays. No call required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You may be eligible for up to a $9,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay

  • This position may be eligible for a $9,000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
  • Additional components of compensation may include:
    • Evening and night shift differential

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to:

  • Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyze and prepare descriptive report following procedure.
  • Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
  • Interact patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
  • Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstance

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program Required
  • Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.

Work Experience

  • 1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
