Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM, with rotating holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Assistant to:

  • Monitor seizure patients in the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via remote video system.
  • Recognize, classify and document interictal, ictal, and post-ictal activity.
  • Place, remove, and maintain electrodes on both video EEC patients and continuous EEG ICU patients.
  • Determine when to activate emergency measures to intervene in patient seizure activity and alert appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Work Experience

  • 1 year experience or equivalent experience as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
