Minimum Education
Associate's degree in Radiography required. · BS preferred
Minimum Work Experience· 2-5 years of radiographic experience is preferred. · 5 years' experience in IR preferred. · 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Required LicensesRadiologic TechnologistRegistered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T) REQUIRED. · ARRT V.I preferred but not required Ohio Radiographer License REQUIRED · BLS is REQUIRED Required SkillsList the specific types of knowledge, skills and abilities the job requires. Examples include: · Provides technical support and assists with IR procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist on patients of all ages according to established protocols. · Provides technical support and assists with neurointerventional procedures in conjunction with the neuro-interventionalist · Operates required imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols · Ensures proper safety standards are met · Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary · Assists in maintaining supply inventory · Demonstrates working knowledge of RIS and EMR systems
