Join Barclays as a Network Toolsets DevOps Engineer role, where you will lead the development of advanced network automation platforms and integration services. You will play a key role in designing scalable systems, driving engineering excellence, and delivering high-quality automation solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Strong hands-on Python development experience with a product engineering mindset.
Experience building scalable microservices based solutions.
Strong experience in frontend development (modern UI frameworks, API integration, and UI driven workflows).
Experience with network automation and integration using Netconf/Yang, YAML/Json, Jinja, Parsers, Netmiko or similar.
Strong understanding of API design and system integration patterns.
Experience writing secure, reliable, and production grade code.
Domain skills
Strong networking fundamentals (CCNA or similar), covering routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing.
Exposure to virtualization and infrastructure environments is preferred.
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.
Exposure to SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs and observability (ELK, Observe).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

This role is based in Pune office.
