Responsible for the overall design and development of wired or wireless networking systems and solutions that integrate software, firmware, board, and silicon/SoC components with specific focus on customer requirements and implementation limitations throughout the systems lifecycle. May also be responsible for systems architecture and definition, including translating the business opportunity into use cases and developing the product specifications for required hardware needed to deliver system requirements.
In this role, you will work in a highly dynamic environment alongside expert engineers in wireless systems and FPGA development to design, develop, and validate advanced wireless signal processing technologies targeting 5G, 5G Advanced, and future 6G systems
You will take end-to-end ownership of projects and IP development, from concept through delivery. This includes identifying technical risks and dependencies, developing mitigation plans, participating in design reviews, and engaging in technical discussions with customers to ensure successful project execution.
The role involves evaluating and estimating FPGA resources and implementations required for high-performance wireless signal processing algorithms. You will translate system architecture into detailed module-level designs, perform RTL coding, simulation, and peer reviews, and apply established methodologies for design, verification, and validation.
You will also be responsible for defining, creating, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including detailed design specifications and analysis reports. Additionally, the role requires providing technical support to customers during integration and testing phases at deployment sites, as well as supporting production teams to ensure smooth transition from development to deployment.
Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wireless signal processing, FPGA design, and implementation.
Hands-on experience with RTL simulation, verification, and hardware bring-up is a plus.
Proficiency in SystemVerilog and RTL design, with strong skills in timing closure for high-performance designs.
Experience providing technical support to customers.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
