Paço de Arcos, Portugal (Hybrid)

We are currently looking for a Network System Engineer to join Hitachi RAIL PT to ensure smooth operations and satisfied voyagers. Within this engineering team you will help to support the development and integration of communication and supervision systems, ensuring smooth system operations and a reliable experience for our customers.

A Network System Engineer is responsible for:

• Participating in all of the engineering project phases: System Requirements; Design Documents; Installation Plans; Test Procedures; As-built Documents; Risk Analysis and Mitigation Plans;
• Participating in the Test & Configuration activity: engineering test documents preparation; supporting tests installation; systems configuration and start-up; completion of all acceptance and integration tests.
• Preparing and delivering workshops to the client;
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  

About you

• You have 2-3 years experience as a Network Engineer;
• You own a relevant degree such as Telecom Engineering or similar;
• You have experience in IP/MPLS Networking(fixed and wireless) design and configuration - practice on design and configuration of Switch/Routers from main Vendors of the Networking Market;
• High competency in Microsoft Office tools;
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
• You are available to travel when required.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Ability to speak/read/write in French
• Design tools (namely AutoCAD and Visio );
