The Network Specialist is a member of a multidisciplinary team and reports to the Director of Cyber Security and Network Operations at the Moses Weitzman Health System.
This role supports—and may lead, when appropriate—activities related to the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Moses Weitzman Health System network infrastructure. Responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring network performance, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues through resolution, performing system maintenance, and optimizing local and wide area network connectivity.
The Network Specialist is also responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, wireless infrastructure, and other network devices in accordance with established standards.
Additionally, this role collaborates with IT and business departments to support system integration, maintenance, issue resolution, documentation, and procurement activities as directed.
