Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Network Services Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to support ARNG operational environments.
  • Configure and manage routing, switching, VLAN segmentation, and firewall rule sets to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Implement and sustain boundary connectivity and transport services for reliable network operations.
  • Apply firmware and security updates in alignment with approved configuration baselines.
  • Support change management processes and troubleshoot network performance issues.
  • Monitor network health metrics and analyze traffic patterns for optimal network performance.
  • Coordinate with NOC and cybersecurity teams for incident response and restoration activities.
  • Document configuration changes and ensure compliance with DoD and ARNG cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in administering enterprise network infrastructure in DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven experience in configuring and maintaining network components in DoDIN-connected environments.
  • Experience in implementing configuration baselines and applying security updates.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network performance and availability issues effectively.
  • Experience in coordinating incident response activities with relevant teams.
