
Leidos is seeking a Network Specialist to support a highâimpact, undisclosed network operations program. In this role, youâll be at the center of realâtime mission operationsâsupporting core network infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues, and strengthening operator readiness. As a technical leader on the operations floor, youâll provide advanced network support, guide operators, and collaborate with engineering teams to keep mission systems secure, stable, and optimized.
Serving as the primary network support specialist, diagnosing and resolving complex issues affecting systems and networks
Managing and maintaining Juniper and Cisco networking systems
Training and mentoring operators, ensuring they are confident, capable, and missionâready
Partnering with program leadership to deliver updates, insights, and recommendations
Implementing network changes and optimizations to improve performance and reliability
Collaborating with Tier 3 engineering on deployment changes for production network devices
Staying current on emerging technologies and best practices in networking and communications

You bring a strong technical foundation, operational awareness, and the ability to lead others through complex network challenges.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
Current DoD 8140âcompliant security certification (IAT/IAM Level III equivalent)
Ability to obtain required computing environment certification within 6 months
At least 6 years of networking experience, with a focus on Juniper and Cisco systems
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and subnetting
Experience troubleshooting network issues across LAN and large WAN environments, including firewalls and network taps
Proficiency with tools such as iPerf and Wireshark
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to realâtime dataflow issues
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to support complex technical environments
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with leadership and crossâfunctional teams
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor personnel in technical and operational domains
These skills will help you stand out:
Industry certifications (Juniper, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, etc.)
Experience configuring and optimizing Juniper Session Smart Routers
Experience with TACLANEs and network encryption devices
Familiarity with missionâenvironment operational support procedures

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
