Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As a Summer Trainee in the SLabs team you will:

· maintain physical and virtual lab assets for multiple labs using modern open-source tools,

· document and maintain our internal IP networking, including IP address and VLAN information,

· write scripts to support the lab equipment and processes,

· interact with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation and improvement ideas,

· be engaged into tasks in the area of information architecture, graphics editing, documentation tools maintenance, processes automation dependent on your skills.

You will work with:

· Tools: Netbox, Gitlab, Jira, Ansible, LibreNMS, Vault

· Programming languages: Python, Django

· Network devices like core/edge routers, access switches

· Operating systems: Linux, Windows

· Next generation technologies, like 5G and cloud platforms

Must-have:

• Active student status
• Good English, both spoken and  written
• Willingness to work full-time during the summertime

• Linux environment

• Ability to gather and synthesize technical information

• Problem solving and analytical skills

It would be nice if you also had:

• Ability to manage priorities and work independently

• Team-player attitude

• Familiarity of IPv4, IPv6, routing protocols
