The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Network Engineer who will provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance and upgrading of existing networks. You will analysis design, specifications, and related documents. You have experience implementing communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality for a software engineering environment. And you will analyze network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), trouble shoot problems and recommend procurement of and/or modifications to network components.
The position requires collaboration within a dynamic team operating on a 24/7 basis, with flexible shift options available to ensure continuous service delivery and support.

Responsibilities:
•Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies
•Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management
•Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
•Coordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations with minimal down time
•Facilitate the implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN and LAN design
•Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate
•Minimize network latency and maximize data through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools
•Deploy, install and implement hardware at Continental United Stats and Outside Continental United States
•Lead large efforts of dynamic requirements and scale
•Work with System Engineers and cross organizational teams to define requirements
•Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network stimulators
Qualifications:
•Certification with IAT Level 3
•Twelve (12) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
•Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
•Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
•Five (5) years experience with the following Network Tools:

oNetflow
•Five (5) years experience with the following SIGNIT Tools:
oCommon View/Max View
oTriton
oTUMMS
•TS/SCI Poly required

Pay Range
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
