This role sits within a dynamic network infrastructure support environment focused on securing, operating, and optimizing large-scale enterprise networks. The analyst will play a key role in the daily administration and support of advanced networking and security technologies while also contributing to ongoing infrastructure projects. The position requires strong expertise in Cisco-based architectures, firewall management, and network automation. Working closely with network design and engineering teams, the role blends operational support with project-driven responsibilities. It is well-suited for a professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys both hands-on troubleshooting and strategic implementation. Strong communication and scripting capabilities are essential to succeed in this highly collaborative technical setting.

Accountabilities

The Network Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise network infrastructure while supporting both operational and project-based initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and supporting Cisco ACI environments, including APIC, Spine & Leaf architecture, and associated configurations
  • Managing Cisco SDA solutions, including DNAC and wireless infrastructure support
  • Supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments using vManage and vEdge components
  • Administering remote access and security solutions, including Cisco ASA and Meraki platforms
  • Performing Palo Alto firewall administration and supporting security policy implementation (PCNSA certification preferred)
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Ansible for network configuration and operational efficiency
  • Supporting network monitoring and management tools such as Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and LiveNX
  • Creating report automation workflows using Python and API integrations
  • Collaborating with network design and engineering teams on infrastructure projects and enhancements
  • Ensuring reliable day-to-day network operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Requirements

    This role requires a highly skilled network security professional with strong experience in enterprise networking, security platforms, and automation. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with strong communication and collaboration abilities:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco ACI administration (APIC, Spine & Leaf environments)
    • 3+ years of experience with Cisco SDA, including DNAC and wireless infrastructure
    • 3+ years of experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN solutions (vManage, vEdge)
    • 2+ years of experience with Cisco remote access solutions (ASA, Meraki)
    • Strong experience with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) administration
    • Experience with Palo Alto firewall administration; PCNSA certification is an asset
    • Strong scripting skills in Python, including automation and API-based reporting
    • Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools
    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as LiveNX
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical teams and stakeholders
