About the Role
As a Network Intelligence Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in transforming operational and asset data into meaningful intelligence that supports data visibility and decision‑making across WEL. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand technical requirements, develop data solutions and support the integration of new tools and technologies into everyday business processes.
In this exciting new role, you will:
· Develop descriptive and diagnostic analytics using electricity network and business data
· Build dashboards and visualisations that provide meaningful insights for end users
· Support the planning, design, prototyping and delivery of Network Innovation & Performance (NIP) team solutions
· Assist in project delivery, testing, documentation and handover
· Contribute to the development of data‑driven asset management tools
About you
We are looking for someone who brings:
· A degree in engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar
· Strong skills in SQL and Python, and data modelling techniques in Power BI
· Experience in data solution implementation, configuration and commissioning
· Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non‑technical audiences
· Exceptional attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and curiosity
· A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing
