In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering the assessment and coordination of transport and traffic impacts resulting from major transport infrastructure projects.
You will support the development of measures that maintain traffic flow, road safety and effective network integration during construction and operation; contribute analytical insights; collaborate with internal teams, project proponents and stakeholders; and identify technology opportunities that improve network outcomes
You will contribute to developing new ways to improve network efficiency, safety outcomes and project integration in a complex, fast paced environment with competing stakeholder priorities and multiple concurrent transport projects
Your demonstrated experience in transport and traffic impact assessment, traffic modelling, transport systems management, and major infrastructure project coordination formed across transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure delivery environments will see you deliver high quality assessments and solutions

About you
Demonstrated experience in transport and traffic impact assessment, road safety, or transport systems management.
Understanding of traffic modelling processes, inputs, and tools used to inform project assessments and integration planning.
Experience contributing to the delivery or coordination of major transport or infrastructure projects, including collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
Sound understanding of traffic engineering and transport planning principles to improve network efficiency and safety outcomes. Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in traffic engineering, transport planning, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
