The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Administrator to help manage, secure, and modernize the technology infrastructure that supports TDK-Lambda Americas.

In this role, you'll work across our North American locations supporting enterprise networks, servers, Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, virtualization, backup and recovery, and endpoint technologies. You'll partner with local and global IT teams to keep critical business and manufacturing systems secure, reliable, and available while supporting ISO 27001 and corporate IT standards.

What You'll Do

• Administer and support enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, wireless, internet, and remote-access environments across multiple locations.
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, network segmentation, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network access controls.
• Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth, and capacity while supporting network redundancy and disaster recovery planning.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere, and related Microsoft infrastructure.
• Perform server patching, upgrades, maintenance, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Administer identity and access management, MFA, Conditional Access, and cloud security configurations.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls in support of ISO 27001 and corporate security requirements.
• Support endpoint protection, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, patch management, and security audits.
• Maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam, and participate in disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning.
• Support enterprise endpoint management, software deployment, configuration updates, and hardware lifecycle processes.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, modernization projects, office relocations, facility expansions, and manufacturing infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, service providers, and global IT teams.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for complex network, server, cloud, and security issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for major infrastructure incidents.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise network and server infrastructure.
• Experience supporting multi-site IT environments.
• Experience working with cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless networking, and firewalls.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity/access management.
• Understanding of endpoint protection, vulnerability management, MFA, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery technologies.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
• Strong documentation, organization, customer service, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity programs.

Preferred Certifications

Relevant certifications may include:

Travel & Work Environment

This is a hands-on infrastructure role supporting multiple TDK-Lambda locations. Occasional travel may be required to facilities including Hauppauge, Neptune, Plano, San Diego, Williamstown, and other locations. International travel may also be required based on business needs.

The position may require occasional work outside normal business hours for planned infrastructure maintenance or emergency support. The role also includes equipment installation and data center support activities and may occasionally require lifting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

$65,000 to $80,000 per year
