Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer – SDN & Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure while driving automation initiatives. The role involves handling critical network operations, implementing cutting-edge SDN technologies, and ensuring seamless connectivity across datacenter and branch networks. This position demands strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a commitment to providing 24/7 operational support.

Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, B. Tech, BE, MCA, BSc, or related Information Systems.
• IT Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, services, and project handling.
• Expertise in Cisco switches and routers, Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, WAN optimizers, and SDN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and static/dynamic routing (e.g., NAT, DMVPN, Multicast, QoS).
• Experience in managing datacenter and branch networks.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, DNS tools).
• Experience with NMS tools like SolarWinds.
• Willingness to work 24/7 support with a proactive and analytical mindset.

Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):

• Certifications in Cisco and Dell SDN technologies.
• Certifications in Network Automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub).
• Certifications in Cloud Networking (Azure, OCI).
• Certifications in Aruba Network Technologies (NAC, Wireless, SDWAN).
• Experience with Aruba wireless, CPPM management, and Aruba SDWAN.
• Exposure to cloud networking solutions (Azure, OCI).
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Linux).
• Familiarity with BMC Remedy, Incident, and Problem Management.
• Banking environment experience.
• Experience with Dell Sonic Switches and Silverpeak WAN optimizers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network infrastructure and operations.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Proven problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies effectively.
