Business Unit Overview
Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale. Our Service Delivery area is a group of teams responsible for the coordination and delivery of all Business and Wholesale connectivity for Superloop customers. This team supports multiple business units, managing all services through both connection and disconnection, liaising with both internal teams and third parties to ensure services are delivered on time, providing large scale project management and provisioning Superloop products.
Role Purpose
The Network Engineer in the Network Provisioning team is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of complex network solutions to support customer and internal service requirements. This role ensures timely and accurate provisioning of network services while maintaining high performance, reliability, and compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, the end-to-end provisioning of network services including MPLS, IP VPN, Internet, SD-WAN, and Cloud connectivity.
Perform network design, configuration, testing, and deployment in line with customer requirements and SLA commitments.
Review and validate customer requirements, translating them into high-quality technical solutions.
Conduct network audits and pre-deployment checks to ensure readiness and compliance.
Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and Solution Architects to support timely delivery.
Maintain and update network documentation, design templates, and provisioning standards.
Work closely with operations/support teams to ensure smooth handover of services post-provisioning.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and vendor certifications to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field.
04+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in service provisioning for
ISP/Telecom/Enterprise environments.
Professional certifications preferred: CCNP, JNCIP, NSE4+, PCNSE, or equivalent.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale network deployment.
Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ISIS, EIGRP).
Hands-on experience with service provider networks and multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
Solid understanding of SD-WAN, VPN, QoS, and network security principles.
Experience with network provisioning tools, and automation scripts (Python/Ansible preferred).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and customer interactions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
