We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure across campus offices and branch locations. The role involves managing multi-vendor environments, primarily Huawei and Cisco networking equipment, as well as ensuring secure and efficient network access through advanced security and access control solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain campus and branch network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
Configure and support Huawei and Cisco routers and switches, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
Manage and administer Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for Software-Defined Access (SDA) and wireless network operations.
Oversee wireless infrastructure, including access point deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
Implement and manage network access control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE and Forescout for secure endpoint authentication and compliance.
Support secure access services including RSA authentication systems and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for incidents across campus and branch networks.
Ensure network security best practices are implemented, including segmentation, access control, and policy enforcement.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support network-related projects and enhancements.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing enterprise network environments (campus & branch setup).
Hands-on experience with:
Cisco & Huawei routers and switches
Cisco DNAC (Software-Defined Access - SDA)
Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
Forescout Network Access Control
RSA Authentication / Security Solutions
Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching and wireless technologies.
Experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
Preferred Certifications
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCNP) or Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP)
Other relevant certifications in network or wireless technologies
