About the Role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to operate, secure, monitor, and continuously improve our terminal network infrastructure across IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable connectivity that supports 24/7 terminal operations while contributing to cybersecurity, infrastructure lifecycle management, and technology modernization initiatives. Working closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders, you will help maintain resilient, secure, and scalable network services critical to the success of our business. Based on-site in Callao, Lima, this role combines operational support, project delivery, and continuous improvement activities within a dynamic terminal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, internet connectivity, remote access, and network services across IT and OT environments.
• Monitor network health, performance, capacity, and availability to ensure reliable service delivery for terminal operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving routing, switching, wireless connectivity, firewalls, DNS/DHCP dependencies, latency, packet loss, and service degradation.
• Execute cybersecurity controls including firewall administration, network segmentation, secure remote access, vulnerability remediation, device hardening, and configuration management.
• Lead and support network-related projects from requirements gathering and design reviews through implementation, testing, documentation, and operational handover.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, inventories, IP address management records, configurations, and support documentation.
• Drive root-cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and sustainable solutions that reduce recurring incidents and improve network reliability.

Who We Are Looking For

• Demonstrate a strong continuous improvement mindset, using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis to address underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
• Have at least five years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking environments, ideally within 24/7 or business-critical operations.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, WAN technologies, wireless networking, DNS, DHCP, NAT, redundancy, and network troubleshooting.
• Have practical experience working with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco and equivalent technologies, as well as firewall solutions including Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, or related platforms.
• Have experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, Wireshark, or similar solutions.
• Hold a CCNP-level certification or demonstrate equivalent networking expertise. Additional certifications in security, cloud networking, wireless technologies, or ITIL are an advantage.
• Communicate effectively in English and collaborate confidently with international stakeholders, vendors, and global support teams.
• Demonstrate accountability, initiative, project execution capability, and a willingness to work hands-on in operational and field environments when required.

Job Type: Local Contract with Probation Period

Location: Callao, Lima, Peru

Work Arrangement: Full-time, On-site

Travel: Occasional travel required
