We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join us at Telia.

I’m Andrius Valiukevičius Team Manager of the Network Contract Maintenance team at Telia Lietuva. Our team is responsible for managing, maintaining, and providing support for Telia Lietuva internal and commercial clients' data center networks.

What you’ll do:

• Operate and maintain Data Center and Enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents in production environments
• Implement network changes, upgrades, and service improvements
• Work with routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and network services
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, architects, and engineering teams
• Drive technical issues to resolution and contribute to operational improvements
• Support automation initiatives and help improve network operations efficiency

What will help you thrive in this role:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Experience operating critical production networks
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Automation mindset and a continuous improvement approach
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Technical experience we're looking for:

• Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Data Center networking technologies
• Strong understanding of IP networking and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with L2/L3 technologies, including VLAN, STP, VRRP, and LACP
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point firewalls
• Experience with load balancing technologies (F5 is an advantage)
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis tools
• Experience implementing network changes and upgrades in production environments

Additional advantages (nice to have):

• Experience with network automation, scripting, or Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, APIs, Git, or similar automation tools
• Experience with public cloud networking technologies
• Relevant Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or F5 certifications

Monthly salary range for this position starting from 3000 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
