We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team at Molex. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
· Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
· Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
§ Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
· Collaborate with the Network Operations Center, Network Product Team, and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.
· Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
· Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other team members.
· Document network configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate records.
· Operate with a systems design mindset, driving towards utility service experience and proactive improvements. Action before the business experiences issues.
· Proven experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
· Proven experience with dense wireless, network automation or SDWAN [OR]
· Confidence in implementing and administering technical solutions, such as firewalls, routers, VPNs, and servers.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
· Experience with network monitoring and management tools, as well as network security best practices.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
