The Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, deploy and support enterprise networking solutions across our client base. You will work on greenfield deployments, complex migrations, and ongoing managed services engagements, with exposure to a wide range of technologies and clients including major government, education and corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, wireless and SD-WAN solutions for enterprise and government clients
• Configure and manage Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet and other vendor platforms
• Implement and support firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation and zero-trust architectures
• Lead network migrations, refresh projects and multi-site rollouts
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation including low-level designs and as-builts
• Monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools, and respond to alerts to ensure system availability, performance, and security
• Provide L2/L3 support, root-cause analysis and incident response
• Collaborate with pre-sales teams to design solutions and contribute to client-facing presentations and technical discussions

What You Will Bring

• 4+ years’ experience in network engineering within an MSP, integrator or enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and/or Cisco Catalyst environments
• Strong understanding of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, MPLS)
• Experience with enterprise wireless (Meraki, Cisco, Aruba)
• Firewall experience (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD or Meraki MX)
• Solid grasp of SD-WAN, network security principles and segmentation
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ASD Essential Eight preferred)
• Australian Citizenship (preferred — required for some government engagements)

Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to or delivering infrastructure projects within structured project frameworks
• CCNA / CCNP / Meraki CMNA / Fortinet NSE certifications
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, Ansible, Meraki API)
• Exposure to in-vehicle computing or operational technology environments
