About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team supporting a global trading environment. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in technically sophisticated, high-performance settings and are driven by precision, speed, and reliability. You will be responsible for the design, automation, and maintenance of critical network systems that power real-time decision-making and global operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network architectures.

• Optimize network performance across data centers and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and low latency.

• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco environments including IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XR, and IOS-XE.

• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using tools such as Python, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, and REST APIs.

• Oversee the configuration and monitoring of Check Point firewalls and F5 load balancers.

• Support multicast configurations and complex routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, and DMVPN.

• Ensure effective network integration across hybrid environments, including AWS infrastructure.

• Collaborate with IT, development, and support teams across multiple regions (EU, APAC, US).

• Deliver technical documentation and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

• Participate in on-call support rotations, ensuring rapid incident resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise network systems, security, and routing protocols.

• Demonstrated expertise in network automation, scripting, and API integrations.

• Proficiency with Python, Bash, Jinja2, Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.

• Strong background in Linux systems administration and debugging.

• Solid understanding of AWS networking and infrastructure services.

• CCNP or equivalent level of expertise (CCIE certification is a plus).

• Experience working in high-performance or low-latency environments is advantageous.

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
