The Network Engineer is responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining the company’s global IT infrastructure network platforms. This role ensures high availability, stability, and performance of WAN, LAN, wireless, VPN, and cloud-based network services across geographically distributed environments. The position requires strong technical expertise, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable connectivity and support ongoing infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build & support of global IT infrastructure network platforms

• WAN and SD-WAN support

• LAN support and administration

• Wireless network support and administartion

• Cisco VPN remote access solution support

• Google Cloud Platform network administration and support

• Network monitoring & Management

• Effective delivery of project tasks

• Effective implementation of changes

• Maintain uptime of global services

• Ensure good team communication

Requirements

Desired Capabilities

• Networking skills & experience (WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, Wireless & VPN)

• Knowledge of public cloud networking desirable (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Firewall administration and support (Cisco ASA, FirePower, Check Point)

Skills & Knowledge

• Network skills & technologies – Advanced

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Team focus – Advanced

• Available outside of normal business hours

• Project task execution

Experience

• 3–5 years administering and supporting corporate network services

• Knowledge of cloud networking technology

• Understanding and experience with SD-WAN & wireless technology

• Ability to execute project tasks

• Ability to self-manage (no direct leadership required)

• Experience working with geographically dispersed and multicultural teams

Education / Certifications

• IT degree and/or relevant industry experience

• Networking certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP preferred)
