ERT is seeking a motivated individual to provide network engineering support for NOAA's Satellite Control missions. Duties will include support for mission operations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and assistance to implement tech refresh and integration for new subsystems. The Network Engineer will be expected to plan and coordinate tasks, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, execute least-impact procedures, perform analysis, implement configurations, and create and update documentation and diagrams. Required Skills
4+ years of experience leading to:
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to access the applicable government facility/systems.
Education
BS in engineering, computer science, related discipline, or equivalent.
Location
Work is to be completed on-site at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, MD. Position eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $42,000 - $167,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT uses several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the position's scope and expected duties, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
