Network Engineer

Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 1+ Year (Fortinet Firewall Hands-on Experience Mandatory)
Candidate Preference: Lahore-Based Candidates
Compensation: 100k -150k

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructures, with hands-on experience in Cisco devices and Fortinet firewalls.

Knowledge of Windows Server administration will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless)
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and networking devices
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure connectivity
• Perform network performance monitoring, analysis, and capacity planning

• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures

• Provide technical support for escalated network-related issues

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to support business operations

• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes

• Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation

• Support Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP (preferred)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices

• Practical expertise in Fortinet firewall configuration and security policies
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs, and monitoring tools

• Familiarity with Windows Server administration (plus point)

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE (preferred)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Good communication and documentation skills

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
