Role: Network Automation Engineer(Network QA)

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

Roles and resposibilities

• Involved in enterprise customers features Testing and related product testing
• Involved in preparing test strategy, test plan and review with test experts
• Participate in Sprint like planning, review, retro and standups
• Preparation of test design, strategy specifications, feature & product test specifications, review and updates
• Implementation and testing of features & product by following software delivery process
• Develop Subsystem/Unit Test cases to cover various scenarios
• Develop Standalone Scripts for Testing is an added advantage
• Provide timely reports to customer and internal management

MandatorySkills:

• Experience in testing customer premise equipments
• Experience level: 2-3 years
• Experienced in black box, white box testing, UAT and E2E testing experience of network equipment and virtualization solutions.
• Test domain Skills – Strong knowledge of test methodologies concepts – L2/L3 domain Knowledge and usage of test equipments and Traffic Generators
• Scripting/Automation Skills are added advantage – ROBOT automation, Perl, Python, TCL, Shell
• Networking Protocols knowledge (VLAN, DHCP, QoS, BGP, DPI, TCP, UDP, Syslog, SNMP, NTP, DNS, Firewall/ACL, HTTP/HTTPS, IPSec, VxLAN
• Netconf, YANG Modelling knowledge added advantage
• Experience in virtualization and hypervisor testing
• Experience and knowledge in openstack, VMs, service chaining.
• Experience and knowledge in operating system concepts.
• Experience and knowledge in SDN/NFV technologies.
• Agile and continuous Delivery methodologies
• Good Communication skills and team player.
