• Develop and implement automated solutions for network security operations.
• Create and maintain scripts and tools for automating network security tasks (e.g. Python, Ansible, PostgreSQL, Jinja).
• Integrate network security solutions with enterprise IT environments, addressing security challenges in hybrid environments using REST API.
• Design and deploy security controls, such as segmentation, access control, and monitoring, with a focus on automation.
• Automate the provisioning, operation, and enhancement of the global network security platform.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to streamline network security deployments.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise for software upgrades, security policy management, troubleshooting, and implementing new features.
• Strong coding skills with experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python) and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
• Proven knowledge of network technologies and network segmentation (e.g. security zones, network access control).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) and container orchestration platforms (e.g. AKS).
• At least 2 years of experience with enterprise-grade networks.
• Experience with network equipment monitoring (SNMP, REST API, dedicated tools: e.g. Nagios, CheckMK).
• Language skills: speaking and writing in English.
• Initiative, willingness to learn, and customer orientation, as well as experience in change processes.
• Proven experience with NetDevOps methodologies.
Nice to have:
• Palo Alto Networks Certified, or Fortinet Network Security Expert
• Industry-recognized network & security certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP).
• Language skills: speaking and writing in German.
