What you'll do?

  • Define, own, and maintain the global network and network security architecture across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, Cloud, and SD-WAN environments.
  • Develop and maintain network reference architectures, design standards, and technology roadmaps aligned with business, manufacturing, and security requirements.
  • Lead architecture decisions related to network segmentation, security zoning, high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions using Fortinet and Cisco technologies across global locations.
  • Review, approve, and govern high-impact network designs, changes, and transformation projects.
  • Establish standards for redundancy, failover, clustering, load balancing, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Network Engineers and NOC teams.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Application, Infrastructure, and Business teams to deliver network initiatives and modernization programs.
  • Support major network implementations, migrations, cloud adoption projects, and SD-WAN deployments.
  • Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex network and security incidents from an architectural perspective.
  • Ensure network performance, availability, scalability, and compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network capabilities and operational efficiency.

What will you bring?

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including at least 3 years in a Network Architect or Senior Technical Lead role.
  • Proven experience designing and managing network architectures within global enterprise or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet and Cisco networking and security platforms.
  • Deep experience with Fortinet technologies including:
  • FortiGate Firewalls
  • FortiManager
  • FortiAnalyzer
  • FortiEMS
  • FortiClient
  • FortiAuthenticator
  • Fortinet Switching Platforms
  • Strong experience with Cisco Switching, Wireless LAN Controllers, and Access Point technologies.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise networks using tools such as SolarWinds Orion, NCM, IPAM, and standard network diagnostic utilities.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • IP Addressing, Subnetting, CIDR
  • VLANs, ARP, MAC Addressing
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 Segmentation
  • ACLs and Firewall Policies
  • NGFW, IPS/IDS Technologies
  • Static and Dynamic Routing (BGP preferred)
  • VPN Technologies (Site-to-Site and Remote Access)
  • SD-WAN Architectures
  • NAT, SSL Certificates, and PKI
  • High Availability, Clustering, Failover, and Load Balancing
  • Wireless Networking Technologies
  • SNMP, NTP, SSH, HTTPS, FTP/SFTP
  • Public and Private Cloud Networking
  • Proxy Solutions and Network Security Concepts
  • Data Plane, Control Plane, and Management Plane Architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Networking services.
  • Good understanding of Windows Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Fortinet NSE 5, NSE 7, or higher certifications.
  • Cisco CCNP or higher certifications.
  • Experience with network automation, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts.
  • Exposure to large-scale network transformation programs, including network refreshes, SD-WAN deployments, and segmentation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Zero Trust and Security Architecture initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco management and security tools.
  • Experience with F5 load balancing and application delivery technologies.
  • Familiarity with other enterprise networking and security platforms.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
  • Project Management experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow in an enterprise environment is preferred.

Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technology
