GENERAL SUMMARY:
Installs and supports communications equipment and infrastructure components within the guidelines of hardware and software technical manuals, the National and Federal Electrician's Code Manuals, County and departmental policies and procedures. Adheres to city and departmental policies and procedures. Reports to Deputy CIO - Infrastructure & Communications or other designated person and works with directors, supervisors, elected officials, co-workers, vendors, consultants and other IT professionals to provide technical support.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED. AA/AS in Networking, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years in a Network Administrator position or relevant technical experience with network hardware and a Microsoft network environment.
