This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with enterprise networking technologies, and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with the Network Engineering team. Travel is required at least once every six weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, triage, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 network incidents, escalating to engineers as required.

  • Respond to network service requests, fulfilling standard configuration requests or routing nonstandard items to engineering.

  • Use ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO) daily to manage, track, and document incidents, requests, and project tasks.

  • Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, including packet captures and the use of standard network analysis tools.

  • Support end users with connectivity issues, ensuring highquality customer service and timely resolution.

  • Participate in and complete mediumsized network projects, including standardization efforts, network expansion, site buildouts, and hardware refresh activities.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Catalyst switches, Meraki access points, and Versa SDWAN appliances.

  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support network upgrades, integrations, and change activities.

  • Apply working knowledge of TACACS, RADIUS, MAB, and Cisco ISE to support authentication and access control across the network.

  • Assist with administration and troubleshooting of DNS, IPAM, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, and static routing.

  • Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configuration standards, asset records, and procedures.

  • Ensure all assigned incidents, requests, and project tasks are completed on time and in alignment with defined SLAs.

  • Travel to sites at least once every six weeks to support installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and project execution.

  • Participate in oncall rotation and respond to network emergencies as required.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 3–6 years of experience in networking or IT infrastructure support.

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and routing fundamentals.

  • Hands-on familiarity with switches, APs, SDWAN, and monitoring tools.

  • Experience working with Cisco, Meraki, and Versa platforms.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and problemsolving abilities.

  • Familiarity with enterprise authentication technologies (TACACS, RADIUS, MAB, ISE).

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to travel and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
