Salary: Negotiable based on experience

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Lead
Functional Consultant to act as a design authority across NetSuite
implementation projects.

This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, scalable,
and best-practice solutions—bridging business needs with system capabilities
while maintaining strong governance across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Quality Control & Governance

Review and validate requirements gathered by functional
consultants and business analysts

Ensure requirements are:

Complete, structured, and clearly defined

Testable and feasible within NetSuite capabilities

Aligned with business objectives

Challenge and refine requirements to avoid:

Over-customisation
Inefficient processes

Scope creep

Design Authority & Standards

Act as the functional design authority across projects

Approve:

Functional design documents

Solution blueprints

Change requests impacting solution design

Enforce consistency and best practices across all
workstreams

Stakeholder Engagement

Lead or support discovery workshops and process walkthroughs

Translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions

Provide clear guidance on system capabilities and limitations

Delivery Support & Team Leadership

Guide and mentor functional consultants and analysts

Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure
alignment with design

Provide clarity on complex functional scenarios

Risk & Quality Management

Identify and mitigate risks related to:

Requirements gaps

Misaligned expectations

Solution complexity

Proactively address issues to reduce rework and delivery
delays

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

5+ years’ experience delivering NetSuite implementations

Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Lead
Functional Consultant

Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP processes:

Record-to-Report (Finance)

Procure-to-Pay

Order-to-Cash

Inventory / Manufacturing

Functional & Technical Expertise

Deep knowledge of NetSuite functionality and best
practices

Experience with:

SuiteFlow / workflows

Saved searches and reporting

Integrations (e.g. middleware such as Celigo – desirable)

Ability to balance functional design with technical
feasibility

Consulting & Communication Skills

Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
skills

Ability to challenge constructively and influence
decision-making

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Proven ability to translate complex requirements into
clear, practical solutions

Leadership & Governance

Experience leading functional streams or full solution
design

High attention to detail with a strong quality focus

Ability to operate as a design authority across multiple
projects

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
(preferred)

NetSuite certifications highly desirable:

NetSuite ERP Consultant

SuiteFoundation

SuiteCloud (advantageous)
