Net Developer (with German)

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience developing applications using C# and the .NET platform.
• Hands-on experience maintaining, supporting, and enhancing legacy software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git for development and source control.
• Ability to understand and work within large, complex, and existing codebases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience assessing and improving existing software architecture.
• Ability to refactor code while preserving current application behavior.
• Solid understanding and practical application of Clean Code principles.
• Experience identifying and reducing technical debt.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Experience introducing automated tests into existing applications.
• Familiarity with mocking frameworks such as Moq.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, reproduce, and resolve software defects across existing applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues impacting multiple interconnected systems.
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to gather information required for issue investigation.
• Document identified root causes together with the implemented solutions.
• Ensure that implemented fixes do not negatively affect existing functionality.

• Identify areas where maintainability can be improved.
• Refactor complex classes and methods to increase clarity and simplicity.
• Eliminate duplicated code and improve code reuse.
• Enhance code readability and long-term maintainability.
• Improve separation of concerns and overall code structure.
